About
Hi, I’m an environmental scientist who currently works at the University of Landau in Germany. I study the occurrence and effects of anthopogenic chemicals in aquatic ecosystems on large spatial scales, using biggish data, GIS and statistical tools (e.g. GAMs), mostly in R. Generally, I’m interested in tackling environmental questions by employing quantitative tools and data analysis. Besides, I am an active R package maintainer and developer who is also getting into Python and JavaScript lately. I plan to delve into Remote Sensing for my research in the near future.
Besides work, I enjoy nature.
